Natural remedies by SIÓG

Sióg draws inspiration from nature and the natural goodness that surrounds us. The name Sióg (Fairy) is a nod to early childhood days in Leitrim, Ireland with Fairy Forts and a Grandfather who was eager to pass on his love of nature and the outdoors. People frequently relied on wild herbs and old remedies to treat common ailments. Over time much of that knowledge has disappeared. Sióg is about returning to those age old remedies and using our amazing wild herbs.

Sióg products are sustainable, cruelty free and made using only natural ingredients. They are free from parabens, artificial colours and preservatives. The honey and wax used in Sióg balms, creams and oxymels come from our apiary of native Irish Bees. The herbs, hips and berries are foraged by me.

Each product is hand crafted to ensure quality and authenticity.

An informative, engaging and highly enjoyable workshop with Tara from Wild Sióg. Today I’m attempting to make my own balm salve with Daisies which reduce inflammation and Plantain salve a natural antihistamine. Then I’m going to chop some hawthorn leaves to put in a salad. Apparently hawthorn protects against heart disease ad helps reduce blood pressure.

Absolutely wonderful morning discovering and rediscovering wild food with Tara at the Rediscovery Centre. Tara has an absolute wealth of knowledge and its always such a joy to hear people so passionate about foraging. Would highly recommend keeping an eye out for more workshops with Tara in the future. Detox Tonic

I absolutely love love your detox tonic, I bought it a month ago & I have about a half a teaspoon in a wine glass of sparkling water most evenings (I do this x 4 times maybe 3 evenings per week) & I swear to god I honestly feel like I am having a lovely refreshing glass of prosecco!! the taste is magical, I have a stone lost in the last month (I have also cut out all the rubbish etc., from the christmas celebrations etc.,) but I just wanted to say I think your product has definately helped me, so well done for such a great product, I love it & am going ordering more. I purchased the Rose Hip Oil and Plantain cream a few weeks ago and have been using it since! I must say the difference I have seen over the last few weeks is incredible! I have tried many products over the years for my skin as I suffer from breakouts and I must say that is one of the best products I have ever used! It’s only been a few weeks and the difference it has made is something else, I will continue to use this product and can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone that is having any issues with spots, breakouts or acne

LOVE THESE PRODUCTS!!

I have the floral foot balm, hand balm and lip balm and I absolutely LOVE them. In fact they never leave my bedside as it is now what I crave and need at the end of a long day. I have never had products that truly moisturize and replenish yet feel light when applied. I also love the scents! Most floral scented body products are way too strong for my liking or smell nothing like the flower they say they are. However these products really smell like the flowers they are made from and are just the right amount of fragrant. I wish I could readily access these products in the States… may have to figure out a supply chain…. anyways love them and give 11 out of 10 stars!

I love Tara’s pot of magic, lavender and beeswax handcream. The smell alone is so fresh and relaxing. Cruelty free, natural and home-made. As a social care worker and a trainee veterinary nurse my hands were in bits. This cream is truly amazing for tired worn hands. It’s a great pick me up also.
